How much notice do I need to give to place an order? The minimum amount of notice we need is 4 weeks.
If you have not given a weeks notice then it is less likely that we will be able to fill your order but please feel free to ask and we will try to help when possible.
We recommend giving as much notice as possible as we often get booked up 612 weeks in advance.
During Wedding Season and at weekends we get booked up very quickly so bookings are heavily dependent on availability.
You can place your order as far in advance as you wish.
Is there a minimum order? In money terms, no. But some products, such as cupcakes and cookies can only been ordered in set minimum quantities.
I have my own cake flavor in mind; do you do custom cake flavors? Our cakes are made to order, so if you have a flavor in mind, let us know and we’ll do everything we can to make it for you! Our basic cake flavors are listed on our services page.
Do you bake cakes for free from and restricted diets? Yes! Dairy Free, Gluten Free and Wheat Free. We are fully competent in dealing with all major free from diets and allergies.
AND….these are not just run of the mill, simple cakes – we can bake sparkly, fun, ‘normal’ tasting and great looking cakes for everyday or that special occasion!
All of our cakes are baked in the same kitchen and although we strive do all we can to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot 100% guarantee this. Our cakes may not be suitable for those with very severe allergies, though we have baked for an endless number of ‘allergics’ without yet to encounter any problems.
Are your cakes suitable for nut allergy sufferers? We use nuts in our kitchen so although we can exclude them from a recipe, we cannot guarantee anything to be nut free.
Are your cakes suitable for vegetarians? Most of our cakes are suitable for vegetarians. Please do let us know if you’re a veggie and we will make double sure to leave any gelatin-based decorations off your cake.
How long will your cakes keep? Cupcakes – Around 3 Days, Layer Cakes and Loaf Cakes – Around 1 Week to 10 days
Can you gift-wrap? Cakes are presented in white cake boxes. We can add a coloured ribbon and a gift card for an additional £1 per box. We can also provide individual cupcake boxes, please ask for details.
Do you have a mailing list? We do, if you would like to join please just email your name and email address. If you place an order we will add you automatically. Our mailing list is extremely low volume and we will never spam or pass on your details.

We have an event at our School/Club. Will you come and do a cake stall? We would love to! This will depend on our workload so email us with details and if possible, plenty of notice!
Do you sell gift vouchers? We sure do! Please get in touch with your requirements.
Do you do mail order? Unfortunately, we do not ship our cakes.
Do you sell Wholesale? We can offer Wholesale to local shops. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Do you have a shop where I can come and buy cakes? No, sorry! We are a home-based business and each and every cake is made to order. We do not keep any ready made products ‘on stock’ as we want to ensure every cake is fresh and tasty.
Do you offer delivery or can I collect from you? We can offer free delivery within a 3-mile radius. Deliveries outside a 3-mile radius will be charged per mile.
Collection is free of charge.
