Established in 2013, Vintage Cake Fairy is a bespoke cake company run by Karen Pemberton, specialising in beautifully designed, hand crafted traditional and non-traditional wedding cakes and celebration cakes for all celebrations.

Everything is made in our studio in Whitwood including all our jams and curd fillings, which are used exclusively in all of our cakes. Our fabulous range includes traditional and non-traditional wedding cakes, celebration cakes for all occasions, hand decorated sugar cookies, cupcakes and signature style buttercream cakes.

Karen initially carved out a successful career in London as a stage prop designer, but after moving back to her Yorkshire roots decided that her passion for baking and design could be combined to create Vintage Cake Fairy. So after months of training and recipe testing, Karen set about creating a collection of eye catching, imaginative bespoke wedding cakes.

Vintage Cake Fairy are proud to have been awarded a number of Gold and Silver awards for sugar craft skills at the prestigious Cake International Birmingham between 2013-2017, and has been a finalist at the I do wedding awards and The North of England Wedding Awards hosted by the Wedding Guide.

They have also been featured in national Wedding Magazines and other publications and are preferred suppliers at some of Yorkshires favourite wedding venues.
